Base Settings — Optimization
This tab contains useful tools to make your website faster and miminize server load. We recommend to use these settings with a good hosting, CDN and any of WordPress Cache Plugin to achieve the highest performance. More information about website optimization, can be found in this article.
|Combine CSS Styles||Option combines generated CSS styles into one line, to decrease requests to the server. Also you can paste IDs for CSS files that should be excluded from combining, one style per one line|
|Cache expired||Theme caches some requests and dynamically generated styles. Here you can change a cache time in seconds, 1 week = 604800 seconds.|
|Purge the cache||By clicking of “Purge the cache” button you will purge cached files for CSS styles and JS files|
Disable Theme Elements
|Disable Shortcodes||Start typing shortcode name to disable it, e.g. “Benefits carousel”. We recommend to disable unused shortcodes once you finish your website to increase website loading speed.|
|Disable Custom Post Types||Here you can disable unused Custom Post Types, e.g. Benefits|
In some cases you may notice a slow behaviour, it is related to the lot of available options and browser memory (e.g. you have installed many browser etensions or many tabs are open at same time). Here you may disable some sections to speed-up the customizer. Disabling a section will not remove options, it simply hides the section to make customizer faster, and at this time, all of options will be not hidden on Customizer Tab in Theme Settings Panel.
As an elternative to this option, try to use Firefox or Opera browser on Live Customizer screen, they work much faster than Chrome, for example.
